Road and highway departments battle water runoff causing traffic issues and sometimes even dangerous road conditions. Water, whether it be moving floods, creeping drains, or even stagnant pools, causes erosion of the surrounding roadbeds and destabilizes the substructure of the road, bringing about both potholes and sinkholes. Seasonal rain and heavy snowfall contribute to this problem by bringing sand, dirt, and debris along with them to clog up culverts and make drainage almost impossible. The R&D Culvert Cleaning System uses five and ten-foot-long steel auger sections to clear clogged or impaired culverts and pipes. It is a clean and efficient way for road departments to handle drainage issues.

R&D is an applicator of AGOP (Asphalt Green Oil Production). AGOP is primary used for recycled asphalt but also can be used on new and existing asphalt.
